Good for them and they do need that, period. Thailand today is not Thailand yesterday, people are very selfish, divided country into three time zones. yellow, red and blue shirts. and in the Southern most tried to run their own provines and there is nothing central thaio can do about it...
In Thailand today, its about me first and you later. and our country LAOS is starting doing that now.

It's already happend in Laos. When commie dog eaters took over, they only cared about themselves and the rest of the lao people became dogs, that's why it's still the poorest country in south east asia. People in Laos are selfish, I think in Asia it's almost all the same, selfish. They don't have anything so they have to be selfish. But the rich who suck commie dikk and have the money, they are truely selfish bastards. They have so much money yet they can't even help anyone else. All they do is buy their mercedes benz and show it off to the poor beggars. They don't use their money to improve the lives of others around them or anything. They are afraid they will become poor like everyone else so they have to keep hoarding their riches. Better you be poor than me, that's the mentality. If I'm better off then that's all that matters, screw everyone else.
In Thailand you have a country that is divided by social inequality. The economic policies only favour the rich (royals) and the poor can never get ahead financially. The rich royals want to keep their power and economic influence and prevent others from entering their market/territory. So the poor remain poor and the rich get richer. The poor are not dumb and there is now more of them to create a majority to control the gov't, that's why Thaksin and Yingluck have been voted into Prime minister. The people have spoken and the poor have won control, but the rich royals won't give up the power. So that's why you see protests. They don't really care about the southern parts of Thailand, it's just mostly for tourists and muslims.
